BURSA, (DHA) - Association for the Prevention of Fire and Damage from ELECTRICITY (ELYAK) has signed a protocol with the Governorship of Bursa in connection with the installation of Trimbox device, which pass in front of electrical fires for 50 educational institutions.
Bursa Governor İzzetin Küçük, ELYAK Chairman Evren Yurttaş and ELYAK Board Members attended the protocol ceremony held at the historic Governor's Office in Heykel. Under the signed protocol, for a total of 50 educational institutions, including the dormitory or school that the Governorship of Bursa will determine, 500 Trimbox devices worth about 200 thousand TL will be installed in front of the fire caused by electricity.
Speaking at the protocol ceremony, ELYAK Chairman Evren Yurttaş emphasized that they have implemented various social responsibility projects with ELYAK, which they have established in order to prevent electricity-related fires and draw attention to this situation.
Yurttaş who says that in the last 10 years, electrical fires have increased by nearly 100 percent, "In Bursa, which we chose as pilot province especially in schools and dormitories, we are trying to develop many projects in order not to experience electrical fires.In this sense, we told our Governor about our mission.We thank to our Governor very much for his interest.Under the Protocol, in order to prevent the fires caused by excessive tension by the technical name known as electric fluctuations in public language, we will donate to 50 dormitories or schools to which our Governor of Bursa will be eligible under Trimbox brand.I hope this project will create a role model", he said.
Bursa's Governor Izzettin Küçük said, "The most important reasons for the fires in public buildings are electricity tension, electricity leakage or cable aging. We have also talked after the establishment of ELYAK Association.They have informed us that they have such projects.We were welcomed with great pleasure.With this protocol, ELYAK will make 50 schools protected against electric fires. I think that this would not be limited to 50 schools. This number will increase over time. We, as Governor, will buy the product and increase this number.The cost of taking measures is very low, but the cost of not taking measures is very big and painful, including loss of property and life.
